“For what do you Wait?”

Have you felt as though your life has stopped or been held up in some way for a period of time? Perhaps you’ve been through a dry period where life has become a desert or wilderness? With God, nothing in the way of our circumstances are permanent or fixed. Life is intended to be fluid and there is to be movement. There is preparation and there is purpose to be fulfilled in each and every one of us. So what God allows to come into our lives many times is to strengthen and equip us to be who God intended for us to be. In the point of our greatest test through our weakest points and moments many times is when His strength is perfected. For what do you wait?

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.” (Jeremiah 29:11-14 ESV)

Just as the 70 years of exile for Israel came to an end, so does your period of captivity and exile that has sidelined you, reach an end. Your 70 years are ending and your deliverance is at end. No longer in the future, but right now is your moment of opportunity to believe God for what may seem inconceivable to you or impossible. “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6 ESV)

God has plans that involve a hope and future for you without exception. So call upon Him now and believe. He will hear you right now from exactly where you are at. Jesus already did all the work for you at the Cross. all you have to do is agree with God and say “yes” to his saving grace. Just say “yes”. You have been found and He is ready to restore unto you the years that have robbed you of your joy and well being.
Where your time of captivity has driven you, it is time to come out of seclusion. Your time of hiding or being hidden is over. God is ready to bring you back and fully restore what the locust has consumed over time and circumstance.

This is addressing someone today that is reading this. Today is your day of salvation. However you must respond. You don’t have become something more first or you don’t have to wait for something to change. He who the Son sets free is free indeed. “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1) If any man be in Christ He is a new creation. Old things are passed away and all becomes new. 2 Corinthians 5 :17) So will you just say “yes” to God right now?

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. (1 John 3:1)

Where charity and love, there is God. There Christ joins us together with Him. Let us be found in there. Let us draw near and love the living God in full assurance of faith.

At the same time, therefore, when we are gathered as one with Christ, let us not be divided in mind. In the center, in the name of Jesus may all darkness and resistance flee.

Behold in open face the glory or goodness of the Lord; from glory unto glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The joy that is immense and good, is before you and awaits your acceptance.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. (Luke 4:18)
Jesus is here and present to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. Today is your opportunity.

“I can only but Sing”

Where love and charity abide, there remains no divide,

In Christ we meet, God is found, and life resounds.

I wondered as I wandered amidst earth, sky and sea,

Jesus came for ones such as you and me,

All His Work we are, to praise Him for Eternity.

In Him at last and forever found,

At his feet may we lay our crowns down.

A song resounds within my soul, it’s endless melody ringing

Words cannot suffice to express the mighty expanse of His love.

How can I keep from singing!

Though storms come and leave just as they begun,

His mercies found new every morning, to Him do I run.

What can I say or do, but lift my all unto O Lord, unto You.

In the darkest night, life’s shadows are put to flight.

At the mighty name of Jesus all sadness and sickness must flee,

For I know of a surety that He walks with me.

In the presence of His light, all darkness must flee.

Breath enters, bones broken restored and new life has begun.

Sing unto the Lord a new song, sing unto the Lord all the earth!

Sing in the troubled times, sing when I win,

I can sing when I lose my step, falling down to begin once again.

I can sing as He lifts me up, as I call to Him in prayer,

Singing with my last breath, I’ll know I’ll be found,

Joining with the angels and the saints around the throne.

The Crossing

Beside still waters You guide me,I find nothing wanting there.

Here Your hand shall direct me, no matter where I stand.

Heaven’s light at times seems so distant,

Draws near my path dispensing all uncertainty.

Now merging with story of divine destiny, the chasm closes,

At the Cross Sight renewing where the twain do meet.

Way, truth, and life intersect in the One who makes it all complete.

The call of His voice clearly bidding by way of His mercy seat.

Your goodness and your love shall follow me all my days

My compass and and guide for all eternity.

Perfect in power, love and purity, the Three in One do meet.

In Your Presence poured out in our love

Breathes new life out into these bones once again.

Your breath fills my lungs and a new song is begun.

Reproof, Mercy and Direction

Do we ever come to end of ourselves? That sounds like a loaded question, right? It is certainly a two-sided one.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ (that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior), he is a new creature (reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit); the old things (the previous moral and spiritual condition) have passed away. Behold, new things have come (because spiritual awakening brings a new life)”.
(2 Corinthians 5:17 Amplified)

When you say “yes” to Jesus you take on a new identity just as when a woman is married to a man she releases her maiden name and takes on the name of her husband. As the years together are experienced as one with her husband, she forgets her old identity she carried as a single woman as she chose from the moment she said “I do”, a new life for her began. The former days in the old identity are overshadowed by the latter and the former fades into a distant memory. I share this analogy as I observe a couple I know in ministry that has nearly 30 years together and to me are a very example of the relationship between Jesus and His bride; the relationship you and I are designed by God to choose to live, move and have our being in.

We see the other side of the coin in this example and that being that in order to take on a new identity to walk out the story God wrote for each of us we do indeed have to come to the end of ourselves in order to say “I do” or “yes” to God when we choose Jesus, we are to let go of entirely the reliance and dependence on who we think we are and can be focused on our self. Jesus says “without me, you can do nothing”.

Have you or do ever felt or feel that you are called to something greater? Greater than as you see yourself right now? Does there seem to be something standing in the way and blocking you from moving into that? Perhaps you carry a dream and vision inside of you that is bigger than you?

That is true for most of us. At some point in our lives we ponder such, don’t we?

God wrote such a story for your life. You need Him and you need the partnership of other people in your life to bring together all the ingredients thereof or all the pieces to a grand puzzle that if you try to figure it all out on your own you will never enter the grand theater orchestrated by the Author and Finisher of your faith in the greatest show on Earth which your life is destined to have an influential role in.

“I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect”. (Romans 12:1,2 ESV)

We are “tested” by the Word of God. Are you willing to allow Him to transform you? Then choose to no longer conform to a way of living that is contrary to His Word that actually takes you away from your divine destiny. Are you open to course correction?

I appeal to you right now; “will you believe God”? Or are you going to trust in your ability to figure and work it all out for yourself? Do you continue to play Russian Roulette with your life or will you bank your trust upon a sure, tried and true foundation by taking God at His Word?

I know where I stand and that I have a Divine Master Architect at the helm of my ship with all the blueprints in hand and his name is Jesus. Do you hold in your heart; broken promises, dreams and vision that you feel have let you down in life? Failure is not final. It points you toward faith, hope, and trust; that you can trade in the “shattered” for a new “sure and sheltered”. I choose Eternity; what do you choose?

“If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you”. (Proverbs 1:23 ESV

May you choose wisely. God bless you!

The Hope of Glory

We continue to make the transition in this blog from beginning a new personal journey with God into the year of 2018 which I sense is moving us into a new era of how God purposes that we experience life now from where we have previously we done so thus far unto this point in our lives.. So as we navigate this transition, let us continue on; and I trust I am helping you to see when the going gets tough that we always keep moving and always take just one more step over that proverbial line. When we are tired weary or just feel like we are just done or overdone; when that disease, illness, financial, family or relationship problem seems like it will never find resolution or solution and perhaps we’ve been trapped in it for what seems like a very long time, then is the time to ask ourselves some questions. For if we keep doing the same things, the same way then we keep getting the same results.

What are you believing for in life right now? Do you live with a hope for a future? Let alone a future, do we live for a hope for this day? God wired us to live each moment of our lives on purpose. So are we? And if so, what is the foundation for that purpose? Does it drive and motivate you and I? Are you highly passionate about what you put your hand to each moment? When your feet hit the floor each morning can you hardly wait to spring into your day? Does your “work” inspire you with a sense that it is joyful as play? Do you remember what it was like as a child to imagine and play all day?

I know those are a lot of questions and they are thought provoking to some of you I’m certain. I realize there may be some of you whose childhood experience may have not been so pleasant and perhaps very challenging to say the least. I wish to be able encompass each of your situations so let us look at what God has to say about the matter.

My prayer for you all today is that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. What is that exactly and how may we apply it where life meets us in the way life shows up?

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.” (Jeremiah 29:11:11-14)

God has distinct plans for us with our very best at heart. Do you have an idea or concept of what those plans may consist of? If so then how are our interests which we place our focus on throughout the course of a day aligned with those plans? How do we even know if they are in or out of alignment therewith? By diligently seeking Him and believing He is who He says He is. If we do so He declares that He will diligently reward our faith so placed in Him. This is how we please His heart in fulfilling His greatest desire for us and that being that we are willing to seek Him for the story He has written for our life and that we are willing to fully trust and look to Him to fully walk it out. (See Hebrews 11:6)

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6)

You are thus guaranteed to fully find God and to experience His presence if you will follow the road map for doing so outlined in His word.

He is ready to restore all loss in our life yet in that process He does so by bringing you and I back to the point where those situations originally took us captive.

I realize I’ve opened up a lot to ponder here to today but this leading us to a destination. We are on a journey, remember? so I want us to take this in slowly enough to integrate it so we can each hopefully see and hear what God desires to reveal and make clear to us right now as to where and how He is bringing together His kingdom to a point of culmination. So I hope you’ll stay with me. I know is He teaching me to be patient with the process because therein He holds a level of prospering in body, soul and health and yes wealth. A harmonious flow of all the elements in which we experience life.

“My prayer for you all today is that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May you and I so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him; bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.

Give thank to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
(Colossians 1:9-14 ESV)

It is all encompassed within our personal relationship with Jesus Christ; Knowing truly who He is and seeking Him for the relationship more than for what that brings. I desire above all else for each of us to experience what being fully in His love is, as an actual experience that unfolds into your entire being a transformation of our very lives to a level that is beyond anything we can even begin to imagine.

Christ in us; the hope of glory. As we peer into the looking glass, the darkness in our experience is thereby dispelled by the the illumination of His Light as we are changed into the same image from glory to glory in His Presence. The glory of His latter house shall be greater than the former and You and I are designed to house His Presence. I find that rather overwhelming. So I will leave you with that now, God bless.
