“Ubi Caritas; where Love and Heart do Meet”

Ubi Caritas, translated; what does this main in clarity and plainness of speech?Where charis of the heart and love are met, there God is in our very midst.
The love of Christ gathers us into one.

Let nothing separate the very communion that beckons and calls us together as one in Christ in this very hour. What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Why nothing can nor ever shall!

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, (2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV)

“Let us exalt Him, and in Him be joyful. Let us in awe and reverence fully embrace and love the living God with a whole heart and with every breath let us magnify His Holy Name. At the sound of His Name every knee bows and every tongue confess He is Lord unto the glory of God the Father.

And from a sincere heart let us love each other (and Him).

Where charity and love are, there God is.

Lest we in mind be divided, let us beware.
Let cease malicious quarrels, let all vain striving in conversation give way to the peace that passes all understanding.
And in the midst of us be Christ Jesus our Lord.

Where charity and love are, there God is.
Together also with the blessed may we see,
Gloriously, His countenance, O Christ Jesus, the exalted One.
A joy which is immense, and also approved beyond what the eye of man may see,
To His glory be. Behold the goodness of God!
Through infinite ages of ages, confirmed in every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, the Bread that comes down from heaven and to earth does touch.

What defends this precious jewel of the heart? “The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We tear down arguments, and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, as soon as your obedience is complete.
(2 Corinthians 10:5 Berean Study Bible)

To every Promise; for ever and ever, the Amen. This is a new day my friends, a new precedent is being set. We shall be forever changed and nothing shall be the same again. Be prepared to embrace a new mindset based upon the very heart of God.

“Be all that you are in Christ to His praise and Glory – Anticipate This”

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth”. (Colossians 3:1-2 ESV)

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. (Don’t hold on the offenses; release them now; they will only keep you in bondage to the captivity of your thinking. Let the former things go that cannot serve “who you are in Christ”.) Adorn yourself with the beauty of identity that being “in Christ” displays. Cast off the restraints of old identiies.

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. All things are held together in their consistent creation in Christ.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.

Be thankful in all things for this is the will of Christ concerning you. As the basis for all of your living, moving and having expression of your being;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Therefore purpose to live to love to live. “Baruch haba beshem adonai”; I bless you in the name of the Lord. May He bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you and may His Shalom rest upon you.

No Greater Love

I find myself in recent days asking the question, “how can I justify thinking of any other human being as an enemy?” I can’t really. Being created in the image of God my character aught to by all means aspire to align with His should it not? I may not “like” certain people due to their actions that they may reflect, however there is no justifiable cause for me not to “love them”. Yet the love that God has for each and everyone that walks the earth, is certainly beyond comprehension of the human mind.

John 3:16 says, “God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” This surely means that God is loving all and offering all eternal life without exception or condition. “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.” (1 John 3:1 ESV). Note that the Father clearly states we “should be called children of God and so we are”. Some just do not know it yet.

What does it means for the pure love of God to flow out through the heart without imposing conditions upon it’s expression?

Let us consider Jesus’ example; that which led him to and through the Cross for you and I. “So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.”
(Philippians 2:1,2 ESV) I am to be of the same mind as He; following in His footsteps, am I not?

I must therefore purpose to do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than myself. Not looking only to my own interests, but also to the interests of others. Having this mind, which is mine in Christ Jesus; I consider Him, keeping my gaze fixed upon Him, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.

He was found to be in human form, humbling himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 ESV)
Walking in this level of humility is not easy by any means due to our human nature; a heart that is effected by sin; yet is not Jesus sufficient and does not His love cover all? He most certainly is and does. Then it comes down to the surrender of our own will unto His, doesn’t it?

This changes everything does it not? Why I choose to do what I do with this life that God has given me addresses a reordering of my priorities. This is mind blowing for most of us is it not? Yet to what do i affix my passion in life? What to I choose to give myself over to?

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:31 ESV). What shall we say to such? Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? No, nothing separates us.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:37-39 ESV)

So my highest goal in life in all things and in every circumstance must be to “love as He loves”. To this I aspire and count the cost of bearing my own cross and taking up His. It comes down to a reckoning of will does it not and this is walking out my divine story and what truly is more fulfilling than this?

Passage out of Darkness and into Light

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. A yoke is something you allow to be placed upon you. It is not true to your nature. It resists life’s flow. If any man be in Christ he or she is a new creation; old things are passed away and all things become new. What have you been wearing that is only serving to weigh you down and press upon your very being that your freedom to move through life is being restrained?

Does this weight bring a sense of condemnation upon your very being? Is it making you to feel less than God declares that you are?

What reigns in your life today? Is it the Spirit of life, the goodness of God setting and keeping you free or is it the law of sin that you give place to or or is it the the law of death?

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1,2)

What might you might be allowing to be placed upon you that is contrary the nature of the identity that God declares that is who He says that you are?

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.”
(Philippians 2:1,2)

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17)

Is there conflict in your life? Is the practice of life that you are perhaps trying to walk out in double mindedness? This can leave you in a valley of decision not knowing which way to turn, in a wilderness of wandering with no direction of purpose, or in and endless sea of despair and discouragement because you have lost your way.

Does any of this ring a bell within you? I can attest to having been there myself and it encompassed many months of my life yet today I have chosen to be set free of such. “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.” (Philippians 2:5-8)

“And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:8-11)

At the name of Jesus, every thought taken captive, every condition or disease in the body must surrender. Whatever that is out of alignment in your life must come back into alignment with the Word of God.

“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities all things were created through him and for him.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

You and I are called “out of darkness” and “into this marvelous light”. The darkness cannot prevail at the name of Jesus. The darkness must bow at this name; the name above all names. Then declare this. Believe this absolutely and fully step into it by faith. Be that which the Word of God declares that you are. Remember your true identity. God’s Holy Spirit, the comforter shall bring you into remembering all the Words of God spoken into you. Give Him place.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. His glory simply stated, is His goodness; the goodness of God. Born again in his likeness is your true identity.

For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
(1 Peter 2:9)

His mercies are new, new every morning. Every day can be a new beginning on a brand new clean slate. Why not choose now? Why wait a moment longer? Gain or have restored the singleness of mind that that is complete, sound and clear in Christ Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life; the only road to true freedom. Choose to be and remain in such freedom wherein the fruit of the Spirit is abiding and love, joy, peace prevailing; then all is truly well once again. Behold, all things can be new again!
