Go Deeper in Love

I seem to be hard pressed in recent days to delve in even deeper to exploring what being “in Christ” truly means. How can I even touch the hem of the garment? I hardly feel qualified yet I will share what He is saying to me. I must. I cannot be silent or still about this. I believe it to be an endless exploration to which in human terms knows no end. It is a destination that I believe one never can attain while in a fleshly body. But chase it endlessly I shall until I breath my last breath. Nothing is more worthy to pursue. When Jesus returns for His bride and we take on a new spiritual glorified body; then and only then will our current state of being be transcended. Until then, may we press in and go deeper. Please have a seat in Jesus’ Name.

This is a bit lengthy, I apologize but I hope you will stay with me here. There is a clarion call for clarity on this. There seems to be an immense hunger awakening in the Body of Christ to understand this now and to enter in to such. It will get out though, one way or another. God will see to that. We can’t truly live on “instant and quick” for very long. Many have lost for the most part the art of process. Patience produces the fruit.

So what is it to be “all in”? First of all unless we are constantly moving towards such then we have indeed become stuck and static and perhaps likened unto the Dead Sea; constantly drinking in and having no outlet. At a standstill, which is not God’s plan nor man’s ideal. Creativity must be in motion. We are born for movement in life.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV)
Let’s look at being “in Christ”, in loving relationship with Him and living out His Word in loving form.

May we discover why life is working for and not against us. “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 ESV)

If we truly be “in Christ” then we are no longer “of “ this world, we are merely “in” it. This by God’s design. He has a plan. “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. “
(Romans 12:1,2 ESV)

When we place our faith and trust in Jesus we take on a new nature.
So why is it that we find soon thereafter that life can still be difficult?

Why is it that the things I want to see in my relationship with God seem to fall by the wayside at times and I end up doing some of the things I would not do instead that are not pleasing to Him?

How do I walk in the true identity in whom God says that I am?

In John 15:1-17 we find the context from which we will be drawing from today. I suggest that you go read this and spend some time with it on your own. Jesus said:
Abide in me, and I in you.

Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that will be fruitful in life. (satisfied, full and abundant)

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatsoever you wish and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7)
So often this is quoted and claimed but do we really know what this means and to actually apply it to our lives? Let’s break this down a bit so we can understand what God is saying.

We can feel like we lack something in our lives, like something is missing. Indeed there can be something missing like some vital ingredients.

What are some things or areas of your life that you feel are lacking right now? Ponder this and hold your thoughts and let us continue on.

What are the key ingredients that bond or hold relationship together? What would bring a sense of completion to your life? Can you even arrive at an answer?

So how is our reality framed by God? Let’s see what God has to say about such.

A sense of lack can enter until we understand that it is because His Word holds all things together. “For by him (Christ) all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities, all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Colossians 1:16,17 ESV)

We are to speak the truth in love, and in so doing we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head. From Him the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament. And as each individual part does its work, the body grows and builds itself up in love. So I tell you this, and testify to it in the Lord; you must no longer walk as do those of this world do, in the futility of their human thinking. (Ephesians 4:15-17 paraphrased) We are walk together as one. This is a great mystery however there is a picture in marriage for it, in it’s purified form. God is doing a new thing to restore clarity to this picture; to the Body of Christ.

We become fragmented when His Word, which is wrapped in His love, loses its consistent cohesiveness in our expression of the way we live. His Word is the glue which holds our life together.

Then our life weave of tapestry begins to unravel.

We thus begin to feel fragmented, as it becomes intertwined with contrasting thread of this world.

What are some ways that feel unraveled in your life?
Do you feel you have to have it all together before you can find the true fulfillment that God intends for you to come into and experience?

To be “in” His Word, and “in Him intimately we must be first and foremost be centered, focused and grounded “in” His love; where we can reciprocate this back out through our life.

The Living Word, (Jesus), comes out of the Father’s heart of love and bears His Father’s heart, so that we “in love”, with Him will bear the Father’s heart.

As we speak His Word, in the love of the Father’s heart there is a sound that creates newness of life. In the beginning God spoke into a void that consisted of darkness moving upon the face of the waters.
In life everything is making a sound. As God’s Word speaks to you, you hear His Words to you. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Your response in sound matters, your movement matters. It is joining in with something you can’t see. If we want to be real Christians then we have to live between two worlds; the tangible world and the unseen world. God saved us so we would live between these two realities and declare to the world that this is what real life looks like! It isn’t just what I can touch, experience, eat or drink, there is something far more than those things. (Eternal vs. transient) I’m not to be a mere spectator, but a participant in God’s process.

Your sound arises out of what you believe.
Living, moving and having our being in fullness here on earth as in heaven.
What you speak you must fully believe in. (with conviction)
What you believe sets your life course.
What you believe determines every relationship.
What you believe determines your joy, peace, contentment, etc.

Living not by physical bread alone, but by every word proceeding out of the mouth of God. Living out of the fullness of the love from the Father’s heart.

If you are praying His Word out of the Father’s heart
then whatsoever you ask then of the Father in Jesus Name, will be fully granted because His Word is flowing out of you in purity. You become the living expression of His Word. As His Word becomes part of you can have a conversation in your own words of expression and just talk with Him as you would sit down with anyone and share intimate conversation; one to one.

Know that you are secured and met in your beloved. We can short change ourselves if we miss out on the intimacy Jesus longs to have with you and I. This intimacy includes an outlet which spills out and over and into the relationships that we come into with others. This I believe is essential instigating the thriving passion that will set your soul on fire. Do you hunger for such? Sure you do! God designed us for such. We can get into denial over this and never chase it. Please don’t deny yourself the adventure of a lifetime. You have no idea what you are missing.

May we in every way and in every day, thus fulfill His commandment in keeping the royal Law; which is loving God with all of mind, soul and strength and loving all others as self. The love we extend is selfless and gives and multiplies as the Father gives and sustains us.

Thus speak to the mountains in your life and they will move. I discovered that “what” I do doesn’t make things happen. It is “what I believe” that matters. We don’t pray to do things, we pray because we are believing in something. Jesus sets us up for a lifestyle of faith regardless of what we see. Faith sees what cannot happen but stands in the place of possibilities.

Whether or not the “mountain” is moved or not – will your faith be unwavering?
Faith is not to move the mountain, it is so that you are bearing witness to what God is doing. Faith is the catalyst to love in action. It’s all about believing God, so that He can make those things happen!

John 8:31–32 (ESV) says “So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” What this passage doesn’t say is, “If you obey every word of Jesus you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” It says if you live in what Jesus has said, if you dwell there, then you will know the truth and the truth will set free.

Let it be on earth as it is in heaven. Ask for the daily “manna” in your life.
It is your inheritance because Jesus’ blood flows through your veins and His breath fills your lungs. This is “being in Him”.

Be balanced in grace and truth, basking in His love; will you?

Your life will be full and complete amidst trial and test.
Yes, there will be pain and discomfort because of a body of flesh.
However there is fullness of joy that transcends it all.

I can say “it is” worth it all because of what the process instills in me. So seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; “in Jesus”.

“All” things are added “as” we have need of them. Now do you get the picture?
You don’t have to micromanage it, just “be” that which God declares that you are.

This “is” living – to love = living in abundant fullness. By this, is the Father is glorified as Jesus is magnified in and through us.

Your joy in your freedom is Jesus’ highest mission. This is all about relationship.

Now go and bless all that others that you meet and life will meet you the same.

“Embracing and Living in Love unto Fullness”

An often quoted and known promise, yet do we understand what this brings forth?

If we be “in Christ” then we are not “of “ this world, we are merely “in” it. This by God’s design.

We can feel like we lack something in our lives,

This is because His Word holds all things together,

And we become fragmented when His Word wrapped in His love,

Loses its consistent cohesiveness in our expression of being.

Then our life weave begins to unravel.

We thus begin to feel fragmented, as it becomes intertwined with contrasting thread of this world.

To be “in” His Word, we must be “in” His love; reciprocating life.

The Living Word, Jesus, in the Father’s love, bearing Father’s heart, so we “in love”, with Him become the sound producing vibration of His Word, in real life, where we are and go.

Living, moving and having our being in fullness here on earth as in heaven.

Living not by physical bread alone, but by every word proceeding out of the mouth of God.

So then whatever you ask then of the Father in Jesus Name,

Will be fully granted because His Word is flowing out of you in purity. You become the living expression of His Word.

In every and in every day;

Thus we fulfill His commandment in keeping the royal Law;

Loving God with all of mind, soul and strength and loving all others as self. The love we extend is selfless and gives and multiplies as the Father gives and sustains us.

Thus speak to the mountains in your life and they will move.

Let it be on earth as it is in heaven.

Ask for the daily “manna” in your life

Be it because Jesus’ blood flows through your veins

His breath fills your lungs. This is “being in Him”.

Your life will be full and complete amidst trial and test.

Yes, there will be pain and discomfort because of a body of flesh.

However there is fullness of joy that transcends it all.

I can say “it is” worth it all because of what the process instills in me.

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; “in Jesus”,

“All” things are added “as” we have need of them.

Now do you get the picture?

You don’t have to micromanage it, just “be” that which God declares that you are.

This “is” living – to love = living in abundant fullness.

As we “get this” shall not a new Hosanna arise from within us? Oh yes, most certainly this coming forth!

Now go and bless all that you meet and life will meet you the same.

Perfection in Love Fulfills All

How many struggle through life over supposed opinions that they perceive others hold over them? Or why do some dwell on “what was done to them” in their past and get stuck there unable to move forward with life at this moment? Why do we even allow such to matter or hold substance in our thoughts when the only thing that truly matters is that God has already established the foundation for all that is to remain fixed or established in the earth?

“Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast. (Psalm 119:89,90 ESV) We have a more sure word of prophecy to speak into our lives.
So to allow one’s past to dictate to them who they are today seems rather foolish does it not? Why hang onto such? Why not place it at the foot of the Cross and let it go. What Jesus did at the Cross already has covered such

Jesus stated that the Kingdom of God already exists within us; a kingdom that cannot be shaken. “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe” (Hebrews 12:28)

So how is it that we make allowances for the transient to prevail, direct and control our lives when all that matters and shall remain is that which God deems eternal and fixed within His Word?

“See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain”.

So let me ask you what really matters in your life? Are you allowing “vain imaginations” to “shake you up” in the transient circumstances and to take root? These then become strongholds that will keep you at a stalemate if you allow them to.

People are never your enemy nor are their actions directed toward you to ever determine who they are in your perception. The only response on your or my part is to love them as God loves them and that is without partiality. Forgiveness in love will cover a multitude of instances where we may fail to measure up in one another’s eyes. Love is always a pure choice. It is not a feeling or emotion subject to circumstances. Where it is with held from another, there forms a root of bitterness to take hold and one creates the consequences that follow.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty to which you are called to in Christ. Don’t give in and submit again to a yoke of bondage and slavery.

We can choose to destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience that forms in our thoughts “before” it becomes a step that is taken. This is our obedience that makes our life complete. Do you realize what ” a sense of lack is? It is the sense of absence that surfaces where any part of our life is not allowed to be perfected in love. This realization is so simple yet it so readily alludes us, does it not?

Look at what is before your eyes. Live to love that you may fully live; will you thus choose? Love fully “as” you look and “before” you leap. When anyone measures themselves by another or compares themselves with another, they are without understanding. There is only one measuring stick or standard and that being what God has established in the heavens in His Word. This may we walk out fully in the earth.

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are”. May each of us choose to walk as a child of God; true to who we are in God’s eyes, as we walk out life with one another.

“Be all that you are in Christ to His praise and Glory – Anticipate This”

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth”. (Colossians 3:1-2 ESV)

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. (Don’t hold on the offenses; release them now; they will only keep you in bondage to the captivity of your thinking. Let the former things go that cannot serve “who you are in Christ”.) Adorn yourself with the beauty of identity that being “in Christ” displays. Cast off the restraints of old identiies.

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. All things are held together in their consistent creation in Christ.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.

Be thankful in all things for this is the will of Christ concerning you. As the basis for all of your living, moving and having expression of your being;

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Therefore purpose to live to love to live. “Baruch haba beshem adonai”; I bless you in the name of the Lord. May He bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you and may His Shalom rest upon you.

“A Voice in the wilderness calls in Love”

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! I bless you from the house of the LORD. (Psalm 118:26 ESV) The LORD is God and has made His light shine upon us. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Praise His name forever and again.

There are those who would ask Him in this hour, “Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?” (Matthew 11:3) Who have we beside You for You have the wonderful words of life. You know well O Lord!

“The crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed were shouting: “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!” (Matthew 21:9) I declare there is “a new Hosanna arising in the hearts of the sons and daughters of God”.

Let us prepare the way of the Lord; as the voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight,” (Mark 1:3) “Prepare the way for the LORD in the wilderness; make a straight highway for our God in the desert.
(Isaiah 40:3)

“The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. (Revelation 22:1 ESV) Are you thirsty? Do you you find yourself in the dry and barren places? I bid now; come!

“Come, all of you who thirst, come to the waters; and you without money, come, buy, and eat! Come, buy wine and milk, without money and without cost! The Lord our God is no respecter of persons. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

“For I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.” (Matthew 23:39) May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth!

“The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength and then you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” You can only truly love through the Love of the Father’s heart.

The Way of the Lord; a path is offered in the heart for those who will believe God at His Word; open and receive. Thus is there not a return of Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, to the hearts of His people right now in a special way? I would say unto you “look up” for your redemption draws nigh? This has always been since Jesus went to the Cross yet God now does a new thing to draw the sons and daughters of God. Do you not perceive this?

“But what does this say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”(that is, the word of faith that we proclaim; that today is the day of salvation).

Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 8:10-13)

Let God arise, let God arise, and let the righteous be glad,Yes! Let them rejoice with gladness God has triumph mightily.

It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your Name, Oh God Most High.
To proclaim your love and faithfulness through the day and through the night.

May I dwell in your courts Oh Lord then to flourish like the trees of Lebanon
Planted in the house of the Lord, there to live forevermore.

For the Lord your God is in the midst of you; mighty is His Name!
Rejoicing over you with Songs of Gladness, singing joyfully, He has made a way for us. That is why Jesus went to the Cross for you and I; that we may live and not die.
For out of Zion arises our deliverer. Out of of Zion flows a river from the very heart of God. I have been speaking with you of this river. Let go of the banks of the shore and come in and enter in will you?

He is here for you now and awaits. If you feel and and sense this, then know that the tap and tug at your hearts door is very real. Reach out and receive this. This IS your time and this IS your hour “says the Lord”. “Shabbat Shalom”!

“An overwhelming Love”

Having come to a place in my life where I’m full but I’ve not satisfied
this longing to have more of the presence of Jesus fill the depth of my soul.
And I can feel it with a fullness that my heart is convinced it must be all of Him and nothing less as He is my righteousness. Aside from this relentless pursuit of being fully in His love, the heart cannot rest. Only by walking in the Spirit and giving no place to the flesh can one ever pass the test that comes with living life. Abide in him as His Word abides in you is what I would say unto you.

I’m thirsty as my soul can’t be quenched and He already knows that after Him I must relentlessly pursue and go wherever He wants me to to go and do whatever He asks me of me. To only be about the Father’s business and everything else I must let go.

I have to ask him continually to dismantle the containment that I have tried to place Him in. It is only His love that teaches who He is once again, taking me back to the place where my heart was only about Him and all I wanted was just to be with Him fully present. Positioning me where the things of this world grow strangely dim in the light of His goodness and grace as I relentlessly run this race with only finishing well being worn as bands upon my mind.

It doesn’t matter what it looks like or what I feel or see, for the only thing I can cling to is His promises to me. I am His, and so what else matters? When the waves of the sea crash over me, it matters not whether I seem to sink or swim because in a beautiful way I need to be reminded that I’m in over my head lest I forget that it is always about Him and not to be about me. This I am made to more and more see, that in Him I am always so forever free. Is there any other way to truly desire to be?

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
(Luke 4:18,19 ESV)

In this world, as a voice in the wilderness, crying; preparing the way of the Lord;
making straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level,
and the rough places a plain.

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” This is the mission of the messenger who comes to solely serve the Master. To fulfill living to live abundantly, to love endlessly. To be as Jesus is, to embody the Father’s heart. What else can it it be as the temporal continually fades and passes, only the Word of God abides forever. He or she therein continually abides living for the eternal which never perishes and knows no end.

All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the Lord blows on it; surely the people are grass.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.
(Isaiah 40:6-8 ESV)

Who am I that the highest King would welcome me? I was lost but He brought me in.
Oh His love for me is everything. I’m a child of God, yes I am.
In my Father’s house there’s a place for me, I’m a child of God, yes I am.

I sing unto the Lord a new song; “I am chosen, not forsaken, I am who You say I am.
You are for me, not against me, I am who You say I am” This is my story and song which unto my Saviour, I praise all the day long.

To what or whom does your story speak and in your heart what is your song?

Will you choose to live to live to love, all the day long?

At The Father’s Table

If you are hungry then you eat that which has substance and it goes a long way. You eat that which will stay with you so that you may remain steadfast and endure the patience of accomplishing the work at hand.

“Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” (John 6:27)

“What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” Jesus answers this, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” Jesus said many a time that had meat to eat that was not understood among most. His meat was to do the will of the Father. So do what the Father shows you He is doing.

Does this sound too simple that it’s message is overlooked, passed over or simply dismissed? So we go looking for a sign to affirm. Wait a moment. Go back, for the already provided is the way, truth and life. (See John 14:26)

“For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
(John 6;33)

“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. Seeing the unseen is unto Eternal value. By faith, are you rescued and secured through the grace of God. This is the gift of God, not of any work or effort of your own. Grasping and clinging to the temporal will not last as in it you grow weary and your strength does not get you to your destination.

Jesus said “all that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. That which is Eternal is never lost.

“For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” (John 6:37-40)

Jesus continues; “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

“It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me. Not that anyone has actually seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father. (Jesus)

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life.

Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

Who came from God and became flesh and dwelt among men? Only one, that being Jesus. Who created the heavens and the earth? “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4)

The Eternal living Words of God are the substance by which all things consist. This is Eternal substance. “For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.” (Colossians 1:17)

Jesus states, “Whoever feeds on my substance and drinks from that which is secured in and by my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my substance is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my substance and drinks of my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But there are some of you who do not believe.”
(John 6:63)

You have a standing invitation to the Father’s table. From what are you partaking in life?
