“Believing and Being in Deed and Truth”

No man is an island. God created us as sons and daughters to always be in constant communion and to never find ourselves isolated or separated from one another. As sons and daughters of the King we “are” the church and constitute the Body of Christ. The church is not a place we simply gather at once or twice a week. A Christian that is disconnected from church does not exist in scripture. We are the church in our homes and in the market or work place as as much as we are when gathered in a place set apart for worship, word, prayer and ministry.

“And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts. (Acts 2:46)
You see it was a continual and daily practice and faith levels were constantly on the rise and increasing. Jesus said “where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them”. He always sent His disciples out two by two or they were in teamed up by three or more representing Him. They were family and in family. Strength is found to be greater in numbers. They were attending to the Father’s business in continuity in their entire walk of life; continuity in practice.

“And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.” (Acts 5:42)
There was no break in the continuity of their practice. What was practiced daily and in continuity? They first and foremost practiced and delivered that which had personally been received into their lives; a living faith and hope that was anchored and centered in believing God and their lives reflected such testimony to what they had seen and heard, which they did and became.

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1,2 ESV)

“Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ encapsulated. This is what our lives are to reflect, emanate and from which things flow. In this we find our place in life and go, because we know. We know the One in whom we believe and place our full trust in.

You and I declare through our words and actions in our lives, who we believe that we are. What are the words that we are speaking actually declaring? What is our daily practice putting into action? Who do you say that you are? Who does God say that you are? “I am a child of God”. What does being “a child of God” call me to every moment of every day to “walk out”?

Who am I that the highest King Would welcome me? I was lost but He brought me in,
Oh His love for me! Who the Son sets free, oh is free indeed. I’m a child of God;
Yes, I am. Free at last.
He has ransomed me and His grace runs deep. While I was a slave to sin, Jesus died for me, yes He died for me.

Who do I say that I am? Who the Son sets free, oh is free indeed, I’m a child of God, yes I am. In my Father’s house there’s a place for me. I’m a child of God.

Daily in practice, in continuity, in consistency; I call us to be the people who God says that we are. May we allow God to truly transform us and may our lives emanate His glory (His goodness) and be radiant of His presence as a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. Shine!

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9 ESV)

“I am who God says that I am”, being changed in His image, moment to moment, from glory unto glory; even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

“Divinely Designed”

Without God’s “active presence in your life, life will naturally steal away your identity. This is true for believers and non-believers alike. Life is to be good however it is also filled with struggle, pain, loss, disappointment, and rejection.

Jesus came because we are lost. We need His active presence in our life. Life has a way of stealing from us who we are, however we are brought to the presence of God in order to be restored.

This restoration does not come by way of an experience within itself. You need to hear what God is saying to you and you must receive it by faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) We do not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

You have to be in His Word. You have to be willing to receive from the other people God brings into you life such as in church and through how you connect with those of His church. You have to be chasing after everything He says to you so the mystery of you begins to manifest. You cannot be a Word unto yourself. You can’t make yourself into something that God has not made you to be. You are to become what God says that you are and what He has spoken over you.

The Word is the catalyst to our ability to be filled by His divine purpose and destiny which breathes the inspiration into us. God’s breath (His Holy Spirit, that restores our identity, yet are we aligning with his Word to receive that breath?

“And in the last days it shall be, God declares,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions,
and your old men shall dream dreams;
even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. (Acts 2:17-18 ESV)

To prophecy is to “speak” what God has/is speaking or has spoken to you. As sons and daughters of God, we are to speak into life what God is saying about who we are. We thus become God’s voice in the earth. All things are possible to those who believe.
(Mark 9:23) Receiving God’s Word to you and prayer are just part of the picture. It is being active in the presence of God where the flesh is silenced that our level of authority increases.

I believe God, therefore I am what He says. Everything I am intended to possess in life will come by what I believe. What I believe will be revealed by what I speak. What I speak will determine where and how I will be directed in life. What you believe is what you become.

What does your testimony speak of you? You are either agreeing with God or you are resisting him. Are you actively in the presence of God or seeking such? They who worship God must do so in Spirit and in Truth. Some worship the contrary; what they know not. Don’t be given over imagination and what you understand or think in your mind. You need a greater authority than yourself.

You can only be what God made you to be, not necessarily what you want to be. Why compete with that which is not you? He who compares him or herself with another is not wise. Remember that you are uniquely designed by God. God desires that you be thus as He designed. Don’t therefore resign to less. So where are you right now?

When Faith gets Real as Real Gets

Dear readers, there are circumstances in my life at this moment that I cannot find explanation for. I have some medical issues on my plate now that are very overwhelming. I have lost what appears to be about 50% of the of the strength and capaciity of my arms, legs and hands and cognitive is apparently impaired as well. I been through less severe episodes previously over the last several years. Before and now; a medical mystery; doctors have no answers and some even hint at it being all in my head. Maybe I have impairment in the brain that doesn’t fit medical text books.

I don’t want to lose touch with you all. It is challenging for me to type this. For those of you who believe God for who He says He is, I ask you to pray for God’s intervention and healing touch. He gave me a vision and dream that I still believe Him for. Just may have to have to walk it out differently. Before February 2016 I did not have my faith. I do now and it is unwavering. It does not matter what I feel or see; I rest and trust in Jesus wholly and completely and His promises to me. He gave an assignment in this life and I will still walk it out even if some things have to change in the “how to”. I will see about going to video so I can continue to connect easier with those that may be willing to continue follow me. The use of my hands makes writing challenging right now. So my frequency in doing is unsure at this time. I got help to get this out. Will stay in touch. I may need some hands and feet and minds to assist. This is what I write about for months that brothers and sisters in Christ, that we be one. That we serve one another fully as needed. Well your support would appreciated. Just ask God what He would have you do if you feel so inclined. If you find value in what I share. I hope you will at least pray with me that God’s will be carried out. This be all I can say now. I will continue as able with God’s guidance. I don’t what to do with all this but I will not give up. I do not quit. I have a race to run and plan to finish well in at least God’s eyes. Even though people sometimes don’t understand His ways. I am to share my entire journey with the world because my assignment from God remains. He does not change. So I continue. God bless.

True Repentance

I will stand upon my watch and station myself on the tower. May the tower be a place of security. May I exercise due diligence to see that my gates are secure.

I will see what the Lord shall say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Reproof is not to bring shame or blame. It is to gently adjust or redirect my course in kindness and mercies for the sake of my well being.

For the past two days I took the reproof from the Lord as harsh critical judgement. I was actually judging myself in so doing and being my worst critic, I beat myself up with thoughts that made me start to believe I was less than or not enough to measure up to God’s call on my life. All I could look at is all the baggage still clinging to me from my past and how could that ever could be eroded away, dissolved enough so that God could through me minister his love, grace and mercy and pour into others in their time of need? So all I could focus on for two days was the extent of my half-empty state instead of seeing I was half full of God’s grace, goodness and a candidate for being a vessel that had room to be filled up in the glory of God’s Presence.

So this morning I choose to focus on His goodness in me and where He may like to direct that today and into whom. A much improved outlook. So He shows me what that potentially may look like. I will write that vision and as it seeks to take form I will make it clear and plain as I take the next step. This will not be held in expectation based upon my self imposed expectations, confined and constricted within limitations but rather in the anticipation that expansive potential awaits within the premise that my God is greater than all of collection of points of my weakness that may seem to stand in my way. His strength is made perfect in my weakness.

I will present the vision He gives me within every given opportunity so that the ones who read that vision from the living epistle that my life is to be, shall be able themselves hopefully take from some parts of it and run with it in their own lives.

That awaits an appointed time as all of my days, time and moments are in God’s hand and are kept by Him as in a bottle to be dispensed in times of refreshing which often my eyes cannot foresee.

The vision awaits it’s appointed time and it hastens unto the end. It will not mis-lead. Only my misperceptions take me on detours and away from God’s Presence and then I end up walking in my own vain imaginations. Let’s stay out of that alley.

Progress seems slow, yet I will wait for it. It will surely come and not be delayed in God’s timetable. For I have the need of endurance, so that when I have done the will of God I may receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:36)

“If you turn at my reproof , behold I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.” (Proverbs 1:23)

May I therefore run well and unto the very end. Amen!

Like A Dove

In order to see where God is taking us, it helps to understand where “we are” in the process. Note I said “process” and not “moment”. The process is temporary and can be adapted, shifted, or corrected. “Correction” here in the way that I am using it does not imply right or wrong. It means rather an “adjustment of perception”.

When we set about to establish “who is right or wrong”, then we are setting ourselves up to be deceived by what we may feel or physically see with our own eyes.
Every man doing what is right “in his own eyes”. No King in the land, such as we see illustrated in the Book of Judges in God’s Word. Is Jesus reigning and ruling on the throne of your heart or are you perhaps leaning towards your own understanding because it “feels better or easier” to do so? May we give up the “right to be right”. May we not lean unto our own understanding.

May we esteem the needs of the other over our own. May we fully extend our heart to the other without respect to conditions subject to what we feel, see, hear, smell, taste, or touch with our physical senses. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Guard your lips with heart discernment “before” you act. Oh, Lord Jesus, have mercy upon on us! And He does and shall. Are we moving, living and having our being “in Christ”? May we carefully examine our hearts this moment!

Remember, God may call things that are “not physically yet present” as being as “though they already are”. If we are “in Christ” in the manner that we are walking out our lives, then when aught to be seeing more in alignment with “what He sees” in our situation, how we are enacting our very being in real life.

Are we taking that “next step” that He shows us when it feels most uncomfortable to do so? It even may seem impossible to do. That is often when can get stuck and not transcend the very issues in our lives that are holding us back from drawing near in a true heart in full assurance of faith.

Jesus is always moving from point to point in our lives simultaneously, while at the same time not losing focus of intent or perception on any one point while remaining centered in the very purpose of His heart. He keeps all points encompassed, connected and relating, each to the other. Are we moving with Him and keeping our perception purified through His eyes?

“Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus. Look to Him as your example in selfless humility. In all things and with all relations with others.

Although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God, as One with Him;
He possessed the fullness of all the nature of God and did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped.

It was not as if He did not already possess it; but emptied Himself and assumed the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men, He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and man. (Philippians 2:5-7 Amplified and condensed)

So we aught to avoid the trap of thinking we know better. Only in the mind of Christ is discovered the fullness of the best outcome in your mind that illustrates the very character of Jesus which we are to demonstrate to one another. Lord Jesus, have mercy upon us. May we, as we behold one another, visualize that moment, as if we are looking at Jesus, face to face. There we must not look or discern through filters of judgment or preconception.

I know I am going very deep in subject matter here this morning. I hope you can stay on this journey. I sit face to face in the Presence of Jesus and this is what He asks me to express and to make known to the best of my ability. I am on the same level playing field with you. We are sons and daughters of the King Most High; Jesus. Each of us is special and unique in His eyes. May we see one another in the same light. This is Where I sense God is taking his church in coming times which is already underway. As we have eyes to see, then we shall so be.

I had a dream early this morning where I observed that we all had wings to fly, but they had not been used perhaps in a very long time. We perhaps had forgotten how to use them. But we each had the wings attached but they were like sails on a sailboat still bound to the mast. As the bindings are released the soft breeze begins to fill the sails until they are fully extended and the winds crescendow into a full gale. The ship begins to move faster and faster. Each of us are holding a little child in our arms. The children are begging us “please mommy or daddy just lift me into the wind and let go because I know I can fly, please release me into the wind. It will be okay, really it will; pretty please?
We did so and our children opened their wings and were suspended momentarily in the air and then they settled back into our arms. “See it is okay. I can fly. Now you know I see and believe just because I can. I want you to enjoy this with me. Can we play like this every day? Now you believe me, right? I was born to play. We all are supposed to live in simplicity and innocence. Jesus loves me and you so much because He tells me so all the time. Don’t you believe Jesus like I do? I pray that you can. If I can see, then so can you play like me”?

Will you and I believe God? In the Father’s arms the impossible is made possible. Now I will wipe my tears and say goodbye until we meet again. There is no more to say in this moment. God bless you!
