True Repentance

I will stand upon my watch and station myself on the tower. May the tower be a place of security. May I exercise due diligence to see that my gates are secure.

I will see what the Lord shall say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Reproof is not to bring shame or blame. It is to gently adjust or redirect my course in kindness and mercies for the sake of my well being.

For the past two days I took the reproof from the Lord as harsh critical judgement. I was actually judging myself in so doing and being my worst critic, I beat myself up with thoughts that made me start to believe I was less than or not enough to measure up to God’s call on my life. All I could look at is all the baggage still clinging to me from my past and how could that ever could be eroded away, dissolved enough so that God could through me minister his love, grace and mercy and pour into others in their time of need? So all I could focus on for two days was the extent of my half-empty state instead of seeing I was half full of God’s grace, goodness and a candidate for being a vessel that had room to be filled up in the glory of God’s Presence.

So this morning I choose to focus on His goodness in me and where He may like to direct that today and into whom. A much improved outlook. So He shows me what that potentially may look like. I will write that vision and as it seeks to take form I will make it clear and plain as I take the next step. This will not be held in expectation based upon my self imposed expectations, confined and constricted within limitations but rather in the anticipation that expansive potential awaits within the premise that my God is greater than all of collection of points of my weakness that may seem to stand in my way. His strength is made perfect in my weakness.

I will present the vision He gives me within every given opportunity so that the ones who read that vision from the living epistle that my life is to be, shall be able themselves hopefully take from some parts of it and run with it in their own lives.

That awaits an appointed time as all of my days, time and moments are in God’s hand and are kept by Him as in a bottle to be dispensed in times of refreshing which often my eyes cannot foresee.

The vision awaits it’s appointed time and it hastens unto the end. It will not mis-lead. Only my misperceptions take me on detours and away from God’s Presence and then I end up walking in my own vain imaginations. Let’s stay out of that alley.

Progress seems slow, yet I will wait for it. It will surely come and not be delayed in God’s timetable. For I have the need of endurance, so that when I have done the will of God I may receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:36)

“If you turn at my reproof , behold I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.” (Proverbs 1:23)

May I therefore run well and unto the very end. Amen!

In the Light of God’s Presence

Darkness cannot stand in the Light of the Presence of God. Jesus literally makes the darkness tremble. I can personally bear witness to this right now. Our minds don’t want to believe this sometimes, however, thoughts can be overshadowed and overwritten.

I am surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses as to what is taking place in my body in regards to the healing I have already received by faith in Jesus who has anchored this in His finished work on the cross. In particular most recently, within the local ecclesia that I am partnered with, I can attest that a significant witness surrounds me in this testimony. Not a single one of us is meant to feel like we are standing alone. You are not alone. I do not wish to see any of you being isolated. Jesus left the “99′ to go after the “one”. There is no exception to this here and now.

“And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,” (1 Peter 1:19) Every promise from God is yes and to every promise “Amen”. The dawning brightness “is” transcending the darkness.

Here, there are are some of you that may be presently experiencing what “I sense to be an unprecedented moving of God’s Spirit”. That may be experienced as the most critical areas or issues in our lives seemingly getting intense and under attack from multiple fronts. This may be quite far from rose-colored vision and certainly not an easy, soft warm blanket experience that you might expect. The heat is up! Our first response might be to get out of the kitchen if we can’t take the heat. Let’s talk about that kitchen today.

The dinner table is a lost art in America. Let us look for a moment at what that experience truly reflected and thus represented.

I can remember fifty years ago, growing up in an era when my family life was centered around the dinner meal at the kitchen table. My mother worked in the kitchen for many long hours, many times preparing meals, of which I helped with, wherein the atmosphere for the meal was prepared in love and conversation that formed and help shape my life through the preparation and enjoyment of good food that fully satisfied the soul-centered experience around those meals at the table.

Then I might add in here the shopping trips that she invested in to select and gather the ingredients for those meals. What is that? That is called process. Do you know what God is doing most with me right now? It is the painstaking adventure of learning to be patient with the process. The gathering and investment of the ingredients. The profit in life comes through the process. Excellence comes out of worthy investment into character. No instant potatoes anymore. I have to wait and my mind tries to tell me that it is simply being baited for enticement towards that “carrot” that I shall never get to fully enjoy. Such impatience and impetus reactions my friends signifies a mindset embedded in cleverly hidden lies. I have been conditioned through life to want what I want and to demand to see it show up right now. My parents, while I was growing up, invested in the process and worked painstakingly hard to stay ahead and they always were moving and seldom sedentary. They were not perfect and had their “issues” as well however they were often pouring into and blessing others because they put the needs of others ahead of their own. I, fortunately, retained some of that “while” being conditioned by this present world.

I most recently re-discovered what it is to live once again in the innocence, simplicity, and trust of a child resting in my heavenly “Father’s arms and loving embrace. He has me. Yet my mind doesn’t always “get” that and resists and wants to cling to old comfort zones that feel “easy”.

The real problem in America today is that we only think on our own terms. Few want to consider much beyond this. Within that, we can get stuck in our own imagination and limit ourselves thereby. God wants us to do “more than we can imagine”.
The atmosphere of the miraculous is actually cultivated by our hunger for God to bring us into true life-changing transformation. That is what this blog is about. Is this not what we have been exploring?

How about saying “God, Your way is better than my way. I believe that as high as the heavens are above the earth, so are Your ways higher than my ways. Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. Even if I don’t get to attain what is put in front of me, I will yield to You.”

What do you feel needs to show up in your experience to satisfy your sense of well being? Ponder that if you will. Do you insist on certain “itches” in your emotional response field to be ticked? More of the same bringing you no gain? Or maybe what you truly desire deep down within is having a fire of passion ignited for desires that reflect an essence of something far greater than your life reflects at this moment. What would inspire you to reach for something more? What does a better version of you afford to offer if you would say “YES” to your “all and nothing less” offered up to God?

Is God showing you what to do and/or where to be at a given time? Are there relationships that He has put or allowed in your life to cultivate a process that you perhaps need to experience to move into a better version of you? Are you willing to hold your ground and just keep “showing up”, no matter what? Because as you do, God’s Presence is about to meet you in a fullness you have never to this day, seen the likes of. I believe Him for this and for you to enter into this with me.

Can you show up “more hungry” for His presence than you have ever been? It’s not about putting on a show because God knows our hearts. There is nothing to work up or usher in. You already have all of Jesus in you. Are you fully “in Him? Just receive what He has already given you. He has already instilled in you the ingredients to kindle that desire for Him. Just be real “with Him” and not “seeking what He can do for you”.

If your belief level is challenged, then tell Him so and ask Him to help you keep moving even amidst your unbelief and “be willing to believe”. No matter what!
Will you just believe God? Can you be willing to be reconstructed “in the Father’s hands”? Is your life “moldable” clay that you are willing to surrender to be reshaped?

I know my God is in control and His purpose is unshakable.
It doesn’t matter what I feel or what I see;
My faith, hope, and trust will always be in His promises to me.
I’m casting out all fear, for His love has set me free, and my hope will always be in His promises to me.

As I walk through this day; I say “Amen” to every promise He has given me.
I will not forget what He has done, for He has already supplied my every need whether I can see or not.

Will you join me in a resolve to approach God and say “I repent of my perceived limitations and I want what You say belongs to me; I want that more than anything else!” When you are that hungry for His Presence moving in your very being, then you will receive.

He will do this for you and I if we will believe and trust Him.

Reproof, Mercy and Direction

Do we ever come to end of ourselves? That sounds like a loaded question, right? It is certainly a two-sided one.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ (that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior), he is a new creature (reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit); the old things (the previous moral and spiritual condition) have passed away. Behold, new things have come (because spiritual awakening brings a new life)”.
(2 Corinthians 5:17 Amplified)

When you say “yes” to Jesus you take on a new identity just as when a woman is married to a man she releases her maiden name and takes on the name of her husband. As the years together are experienced as one with her husband, she forgets her old identity she carried as a single woman as she chose from the moment she said “I do”, a new life for her began. The former days in the old identity are overshadowed by the latter and the former fades into a distant memory. I share this analogy as I observe a couple I know in ministry that has nearly 30 years together and to me are a very example of the relationship between Jesus and His bride; the relationship you and I are designed by God to choose to live, move and have our being in.

We see the other side of the coin in this example and that being that in order to take on a new identity to walk out the story God wrote for each of us we do indeed have to come to the end of ourselves in order to say “I do” or “yes” to God when we choose Jesus, we are to let go of entirely the reliance and dependence on who we think we are and can be focused on our self. Jesus says “without me, you can do nothing”.

Have you or do ever felt or feel that you are called to something greater? Greater than as you see yourself right now? Does there seem to be something standing in the way and blocking you from moving into that? Perhaps you carry a dream and vision inside of you that is bigger than you?

That is true for most of us. At some point in our lives we ponder such, don’t we?

God wrote such a story for your life. You need Him and you need the partnership of other people in your life to bring together all the ingredients thereof or all the pieces to a grand puzzle that if you try to figure it all out on your own you will never enter the grand theater orchestrated by the Author and Finisher of your faith in the greatest show on Earth which your life is destined to have an influential role in.

“I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect”. (Romans 12:1,2 ESV)

We are “tested” by the Word of God. Are you willing to allow Him to transform you? Then choose to no longer conform to a way of living that is contrary to His Word that actually takes you away from your divine destiny. Are you open to course correction?

I appeal to you right now; “will you believe God”? Or are you going to trust in your ability to figure and work it all out for yourself? Do you continue to play Russian Roulette with your life or will you bank your trust upon a sure, tried and true foundation by taking God at His Word?

I know where I stand and that I have a Divine Master Architect at the helm of my ship with all the blueprints in hand and his name is Jesus. Do you hold in your heart; broken promises, dreams and vision that you feel have let you down in life? Failure is not final. It points you toward faith, hope, and trust; that you can trade in the “shattered” for a new “sure and sheltered”. I choose Eternity; what do you choose?

“If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you”. (Proverbs 1:23 ESV

May you choose wisely. God bless you!

Like A Dove

In order to see where God is taking us, it helps to understand where “we are” in the process. Note I said “process” and not “moment”. The process is temporary and can be adapted, shifted, or corrected. “Correction” here in the way that I am using it does not imply right or wrong. It means rather an “adjustment of perception”.

When we set about to establish “who is right or wrong”, then we are setting ourselves up to be deceived by what we may feel or physically see with our own eyes.
Every man doing what is right “in his own eyes”. No King in the land, such as we see illustrated in the Book of Judges in God’s Word. Is Jesus reigning and ruling on the throne of your heart or are you perhaps leaning towards your own understanding because it “feels better or easier” to do so? May we give up the “right to be right”. May we not lean unto our own understanding.

May we esteem the needs of the other over our own. May we fully extend our heart to the other without respect to conditions subject to what we feel, see, hear, smell, taste, or touch with our physical senses. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Guard your lips with heart discernment “before” you act. Oh, Lord Jesus, have mercy upon on us! And He does and shall. Are we moving, living and having our being “in Christ”? May we carefully examine our hearts this moment!

Remember, God may call things that are “not physically yet present” as being as “though they already are”. If we are “in Christ” in the manner that we are walking out our lives, then when aught to be seeing more in alignment with “what He sees” in our situation, how we are enacting our very being in real life.

Are we taking that “next step” that He shows us when it feels most uncomfortable to do so? It even may seem impossible to do. That is often when can get stuck and not transcend the very issues in our lives that are holding us back from drawing near in a true heart in full assurance of faith.

Jesus is always moving from point to point in our lives simultaneously, while at the same time not losing focus of intent or perception on any one point while remaining centered in the very purpose of His heart. He keeps all points encompassed, connected and relating, each to the other. Are we moving with Him and keeping our perception purified through His eyes?

“Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus. Look to Him as your example in selfless humility. In all things and with all relations with others.

Although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God, as One with Him;
He possessed the fullness of all the nature of God and did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped.

It was not as if He did not already possess it; but emptied Himself and assumed the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men, He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and man. (Philippians 2:5-7 Amplified and condensed)

So we aught to avoid the trap of thinking we know better. Only in the mind of Christ is discovered the fullness of the best outcome in your mind that illustrates the very character of Jesus which we are to demonstrate to one another. Lord Jesus, have mercy upon us. May we, as we behold one another, visualize that moment, as if we are looking at Jesus, face to face. There we must not look or discern through filters of judgment or preconception.

I know I am going very deep in subject matter here this morning. I hope you can stay on this journey. I sit face to face in the Presence of Jesus and this is what He asks me to express and to make known to the best of my ability. I am on the same level playing field with you. We are sons and daughters of the King Most High; Jesus. Each of us is special and unique in His eyes. May we see one another in the same light. This is Where I sense God is taking his church in coming times which is already underway. As we have eyes to see, then we shall so be.

I had a dream early this morning where I observed that we all had wings to fly, but they had not been used perhaps in a very long time. We perhaps had forgotten how to use them. But we each had the wings attached but they were like sails on a sailboat still bound to the mast. As the bindings are released the soft breeze begins to fill the sails until they are fully extended and the winds crescendow into a full gale. The ship begins to move faster and faster. Each of us are holding a little child in our arms. The children are begging us “please mommy or daddy just lift me into the wind and let go because I know I can fly, please release me into the wind. It will be okay, really it will; pretty please?
We did so and our children opened their wings and were suspended momentarily in the air and then they settled back into our arms. “See it is okay. I can fly. Now you know I see and believe just because I can. I want you to enjoy this with me. Can we play like this every day? Now you believe me, right? I was born to play. We all are supposed to live in simplicity and innocence. Jesus loves me and you so much because He tells me so all the time. Don’t you believe Jesus like I do? I pray that you can. If I can see, then so can you play like me”?

Will you and I believe God? In the Father’s arms the impossible is made possible. Now I will wipe my tears and say goodbye until we meet again. There is no more to say in this moment. God bless you!

The Hope of Glory

We continue to make the transition in this blog from beginning a new personal journey with God into the year of 2018 which I sense is moving us into a new era of how God purposes that we experience life now from where we have previously we done so thus far unto this point in our lives.. So as we navigate this transition, let us continue on; and I trust I am helping you to see when the going gets tough that we always keep moving and always take just one more step over that proverbial line. When we are tired weary or just feel like we are just done or overdone; when that disease, illness, financial, family or relationship problem seems like it will never find resolution or solution and perhaps we’ve been trapped in it for what seems like a very long time, then is the time to ask ourselves some questions. For if we keep doing the same things, the same way then we keep getting the same results.

What are you believing for in life right now? Do you live with a hope for a future? Let alone a future, do we live for a hope for this day? God wired us to live each moment of our lives on purpose. So are we? And if so, what is the foundation for that purpose? Does it drive and motivate you and I? Are you highly passionate about what you put your hand to each moment? When your feet hit the floor each morning can you hardly wait to spring into your day? Does your “work” inspire you with a sense that it is joyful as play? Do you remember what it was like as a child to imagine and play all day?

I know those are a lot of questions and they are thought provoking to some of you I’m certain. I realize there may be some of you whose childhood experience may have not been so pleasant and perhaps very challenging to say the least. I wish to be able encompass each of your situations so let us look at what God has to say about the matter.

My prayer for you all today is that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. What is that exactly and how may we apply it where life meets us in the way life shows up?

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.” (Jeremiah 29:11:11-14)

God has distinct plans for us with our very best at heart. Do you have an idea or concept of what those plans may consist of? If so then how are our interests which we place our focus on throughout the course of a day aligned with those plans? How do we even know if they are in or out of alignment therewith? By diligently seeking Him and believing He is who He says He is. If we do so He declares that He will diligently reward our faith so placed in Him. This is how we please His heart in fulfilling His greatest desire for us and that being that we are willing to seek Him for the story He has written for our life and that we are willing to fully trust and look to Him to fully walk it out. (See Hebrews 11:6)

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6)

You are thus guaranteed to fully find God and to experience His presence if you will follow the road map for doing so outlined in His word.

He is ready to restore all loss in our life yet in that process He does so by bringing you and I back to the point where those situations originally took us captive.

I realize I’ve opened up a lot to ponder here to today but this leading us to a destination. We are on a journey, remember? so I want us to take this in slowly enough to integrate it so we can each hopefully see and hear what God desires to reveal and make clear to us right now as to where and how He is bringing together His kingdom to a point of culmination. So I hope you’ll stay with me. I know is He teaching me to be patient with the process because therein He holds a level of prospering in body, soul and health and yes wealth. A harmonious flow of all the elements in which we experience life.

“My prayer for you all today is that you may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May you and I so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him; bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.

Give thank to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”
(Colossians 1:9-14 ESV)

It is all encompassed within our personal relationship with Jesus Christ; Knowing truly who He is and seeking Him for the relationship more than for what that brings. I desire above all else for each of us to experience what being fully in His love is, as an actual experience that unfolds into your entire being a transformation of our very lives to a level that is beyond anything we can even begin to imagine.

Christ in us; the hope of glory. As we peer into the looking glass, the darkness in our experience is thereby dispelled by the the illumination of His Light as we are changed into the same image from glory to glory in His Presence. The glory of His latter house shall be greater than the former and You and I are designed to house His Presence. I find that rather overwhelming. So I will leave you with that now, God bless.

Being Open Faced

What is to have a “truly opened heart”? Are you and I willing to risk being totally vulnerable and not be afraid to totally be who we are now with one another? Does that bring apprehension into the presence of your being?

I have been in a loving encounter with Jesus that is ongoing and crescendoing. I find it challenging to share this with you from a fullness in which I experience it. It is a learning curve for me to bring this into words that I can speak and write on this page. I have beheld Him face to face, multiple times. I ask; “do I ever leave that gaze?” Sure it gets interrupted, however, I always keep returning to this place of blessed communion. You can take this any way you wish or are able to. I’m sharing open-faced from the heart. With me, this is as real as it gets. This life being walked out in a way I have never been or gone. It is brand new. The point and direction of my writing here is that the Body of Christ become “One New Man”. What does that mean? This is what this blog is moving into. How is God moving in our midst in the days ahead? It is perhaps not in the way we have thought. Let us embrace in newness the mind of Christ, which is in essence what we are created to live and move and have our being in.

Let me illustrate for example from real life. I’m telling you a story. Just play along as the one with me on a journey; okay? Suppose you and I initially met about 20 years ago. We have had our share of successes and failures surface in our lives. I know I made some real mistakes that come out of poor choices. I messed up big time about 15 years ago which led me away from God. I was in the wilderness for 15 years. Meanwhile, you went on to develop and nurture and cultivate a career and ministry. At the beginning of 2017, after my world and health had totally collapsed, I found my way back to God after I came to the end of my road and rope. God received me back with an open embrace as the prodigal that I was. Just as I was, He began to show me who I am in Him in now.

You were the first person in my life to come to my remembrance and I looked at your track record which appears to be one of considerable impeccability and it appears you have walked in purity before God. You have always been an excellent reflection of the character and nature of Jesus to me. You set an example for me and mirrored unto me what I needed to see in myself. This gave me initiative and confidence to approach and enter the business world as a representative of the Kingdom of God. I am not putting you on a pedestal but what I am doing is commending you for the degree of excellence I see in your character.

I know you have your flaws as do I; as we are both human. It has been 15 years since we walked with each other face to face. When we met, I sense we knew what it was to walk as brother and sister and you were the best sister in Christ I could have ever asked for. I valued highly every moment we shared together. From there to the present; what we consider to know in our minds of each other can so easily be influenced by the way we remember each other; pleasant and unpleasant. Then what we read of each other’s presence online; how much does that alone reveal to each other who we are today?

Yes, you have perused my Facebook page history and something led you to that incident. This was before I had totally allowed the process of Jesus cleaning up my life to be fully implemented. Yes, you may have seen some remnants and that is what they were; remnants from my past that I was not aware had not been fully attended to. I am so grateful that they were brought to my attention and immediately I addressed them. Thank for having a role in that process. I pray, hope and trust that we can fully embrace who we are now without allowing what we may remember of one another’s past to bring judgemental thinking into how we regard one another now. May we put our past to rest and embrace the present.

Are we apprehensive about coming back together face to face; in the grace of God to be open who we are now in Christ? I am reuniting with a number of people in recent days that were in my life when you were and there is always reconciliation that we must make with our preconceptions of the past in order to see with an open face who we have become and are becoming. Can we just meet and embrace who we are now and explore and rediscover who we are at present? Life is always all about relationship. That is the way God wired us. You and I have a relationship that I sense is calling us to see with new eyes. Let’s not try and define it from our mind’s eye. I like to be direct and personal with people and have them be the same with me. I sense in most cases the same is true with you at least in some capacity.

So what I am asking is “can we sit down together in the Presence our Lord and Saviour and enjoy a cup of coffee? We can start anew and embrace what is relevant and important and let the rest be gone that we release as such. Where do we wish to go from here? May we value the integrity of our relationship with one another.

It is not wise to keep postponing that which in our hearts may be in some cases, begging us to face and address. It is simple. Just be open faced so we can behold as much as is possible, who we are now, where we are in life; where we see ourselves advancing towards. As we do so we are changed into the same image from glory to glory. As scripture directs us to. The more we are willing to continually take steps in the approach or re-approach toward one another, then the more in the likeness of Jesus we become. So how about that coffee date or however we choose to come together? No more procrastination? I love you totally beyond measure and there are no conditions whatsoever attached to this love. So if where there is apprehension present and you find yourself tabling this, please know I am praying that you may be able to embrace being open faced with everyone and everything in life. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always in everything and in every moment. I see us face to face soon. Until then, run the race well, remembering that one receives the prize; the one who finishes. You are loved more than you may know.

There is my story of illustration to you today. It is addressed mainly to one near and dear to my heart in real life and I trust as an illustration it has helped you to gain a picture of what it is to be “open-faced”. I am a storyteller. That is one of my expressions. I am about to make my debut as an author. I see a best seller coming. So I am told. I screen write for motion pictures as well. My passion is to invest in others to the end that they know the richness in Christ. My theater; the marketplace of business in media and entertainment. This story is part of my launch therein. This is to unfold through an enterprise that is under construction. My plate is quite full with that and part of walking out the story that God wrote for me is to invite you along through the entire process. So consider yourself invited. I see you as V.I.P.’s becoming. I believe in you. May you embrace your most holy faith!

“But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” (@ Corinthians 3:16-18)

May God bless each and every one of you my wonderful readers! I thank God for each and every one of you and it is my prayer that your lives be truly touched in every way and that you each come into the fulness of truly knowing Jesus for who and all He truly is. I’ll be back soon with more. Have a blessed day my friends!

Going Beyond in the Father’s Promise

Good Morning my dear faithful and fellow readers! Today we come to a turning point in the road being Febuary 22. 2018. That in itself bears great significance. As this day unfolds perhaps you will begin to discover “the why” as to its significance. The second month, the twenty-second day and I approached the writing of this piece at 2:22 AM. There are no coincidences.

I am shifting the focus of this blog today as we have been peering into the looking glass as it were, into the very nature of the love of loves; the nature of, and the ingredients it consists of.

From one heart unto the Heart of Hearts, and back again. From and between you and I unto the King of Kings and then back again. This is a reciprocal love; never to be one side-sided or self-centered. It is to be fully extended and freely given and is to be exchanged time and time again, endlessly; may you see. This transcends the expanse of all time as we currently know or understand or it.

The shift in focus I speak of is, from one of “the nature” of this love, to the very “application thereof”, to everyday real life, where the wheels touch the road as it were.

Where are we going with this? Where is the Body of Christ going in relationship to Jesus and to each other? God has been speaking to me for months and especially the last few weeks concerning this and I discover that He is having me write unto you as a very expression of His heart at this moment, in which we experience as time. He is timeless, whereas in human form we choose to measure time in the manner that we do. This is merely my perspective of what I believe God is speaking, yet in that process, I yield to the direction and leading of His Holy Spirit to put these words into expression upon this page.

I have in the last few days sensed this message coming into view and taking shape and so here we are this morning, depending on where you are in this world, the time of day in which you read this may differ or vary.

My soon-to-be business mentor, to whom I was introduced to the other day, stated that she was bringing to me a “linchpin” as it were that keeps the wheel going around. What is a “linchpin” exactly and how does it apply here? Simply put, it is;
1. A person or thing vital to an enterprise or organization.
“regular brushing is the linchpin of all good dental hygiene”
2. A pin passed through the end of an axle to keep a wheel in position.
Merriam-Webster’s states as follows; 1. A locking pin inserted crosswise (as through the end of an axle or shaft)
2. One that serves to hold together parts or elements that exist or function as a unit, the linchpin in the defense’s case.

In essence, it is the pin that keeps the wheel on the hub and all the spokes in alignment. The glue that holds everything together.

Let us look to the Word of God for a moment, drawing from Colossians 1:11-20.
“May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.

May we give thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.

Through Jesus, we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins; The Preeminence of Christ.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.

Whether they be thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things were created through him and for him.

He is before all things, and in him, all things hold together.

He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross”.

Now allow me to illustrate in a real-life example if I may, using my vivid and what some feel to be “a little bit eccentric” imagination, an example of unconditional and agape love as Jesus wishes us to understand that we may truly and fully know and experience Him as He truly is. This is figuratively and yet actually unfolding in my life, in a way right now. It is between myself and a scout agent that brings talent together between the actors, writers and casting, namely director or producer of a film in creation. I am a screenwriter who she believes has a sales pitch I wish to run by her.

I actually have not approached her to “pitch anything”. I am approaching her to present potential revelation into a relationship, thereby inviting development into the potential of God’s divine purpose and appointment. One between her and myself. It could be a friend-to-friend consultation as she and I go back 20 years. It could be a business proposal and to take it to the next level even a marriage proposal. When I love, I do so fully with no conditions and no strings attached. Jesus loves me in this way so I choose to love others the same. Well, I am working on that anyway! Where does God wish to go with this? I have placed this entirely into God’s hand. I am merely one piece of the conduit through which He desires to move.

Anyway, I contact her and request a meeting over a cup of coffee. This is all over text message. She indicates a willingness to meet and offers me a couple of days and times, that are available. I reply that I am available for either and to just select the time and place and I will be there. I receive no response. I repeat and reiterate and still; no response. Hmmm; what is up with that? This has been going on for well over a week. I am not disappointed or taking it personally but merely wonder why there is no follow-through. This has occurred previously over the last year as well a couple of times. I find this to be a trend not only with her but with others in my life from time to time as well.

Let us quickly encapsulate where I am going with this. Many of us play out this dance with our relationships in varying forms. It can be in meeting new contacts, friend to friend, business partners or potential-to-be or existing marriage partners.

Why are some of us hesitant to let go and freely love one another without conditions being set in place? Are we afraid to allow the walls we have erected to come down? What if we, in our hearts, truly desire to love one another freely but something is making us apprehensive to allow ourselves to release the barriers that reveal a sense of fearing vulnerability? So we avoid and make evasive maneuvers to avoid coming together truly or fully so we often resign to go it alone.

Is this why we fail to build cohesive teamwork in our lives? Remaining disconnected are we to remain isolated from one another? Can a new contact instill in us a fear of becoming friends? Can friend-to-friend-connection experience fear of entering a partnership, business or otherwise? Do potential or existing business partners fear deeper relationships that go beyond doing business? (I do mean within respecting the honor and integrity within the relationship) Are we afraid to get personal? Does getting intimate present challenges to us?

I am not implying anything improper either. What I am implying is to be open-faced with one another; that a greater glory has a chance to manifest in between. We seem to see now through a glass darkly and the change in this blog is to illustrate that we come and behold one another face-to-face. Are you open to continue with me? I seem to be venturing into being fearless in my faith. Do you wish to come with me?

Then let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith. I close with the words of a piece of music written by Charles Wesley. I modernized the wording so we may take these words to heart more readily. Will you open to the possibilty that stands before you and I in this expansive moment? Look at your relationship with Jesus and with the others in your life in light of the message portrayed here. God Bless.

Love divine, all loves excelling,
Joy of Heav’n to earth come down;
Fix in us your humble dwelling;
All your faithful mercies crown!
Jesus, You are all compassion,
Pure unbounded love, You are;
Visit us with Your salvation,
Enter every trembling heart.
Breathe, O breathe Your loving Spirit
Into every troubled breast!
Let us all in You inherit;
Let us find that second rest.
Take away our bent to sinning;
Alpha and Omega be;
End of faith, as its beginning,
Set our hearts at liberty.
Come, Almighty to deliver,
Let us all Your life receive;
Suddenly return, and never,
Nevermore Your Presence leave.
May we always You be blessing,
Serving You as Your hosts above,
Pray and praise You without ceasing,
Glory in Your perfect love.
Finish, then, Your new creation;
Pure and spotless let us be;
Let us see Your great salvation
Perfectly restored in You;
Changed from glory into glory,
Till in Heav’n we take our place,
Till we cast our crowns before You,
Lost in wonder, love, and praise.
