Blessed is he or she whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
The one who meditates on His law day and night. (Psalm 1:1)
Therefore may our delight be centered in the very essence of “who” He is. Not so much in “what” He can bring. It is “who He is” and how this relates you and I to Him.
And that being rooted in is His love within; for you and I and this was how Jesus was moved to die and take our sin to the cross and then be resurrected victorious over death, hell and the grave.
I shall forever more rejoice that He brought me out of that grave and delivered me from the sentence of death that once held me bound in chains. Shout hallelujah!
Is this not the royal law spoken of in the book of James? Indeed it is. Jesus says that loving Him “in the love” that He loves us and loving our fellow man as ourselves fulfills the law of the Old Testament. This is what it is to be “in Christ” and therefore a new creation. The key is in being “in Him”. To be found more fully “in Him”. This is my heart’s cry for each and every one of us.
How deep and how far does your desire for Him reach right now? Oh, they that hunger and thirst after His righteousness shall be filled! Yet there is no end or limit to which He can fill you and I.
Lift your cup to Him right now and ask Him to fill it to overflowing until your zeal for His Presence overtakes and consumes anything that might stand in the way of such relationship! You and I must decrease so that He may increase.
Oh, that we truly bear His Presence in the earth in greater measure. Let this mind be in you that is in Christ Jesus!
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither;
whatever they do prospers. It is in His Presence that our fruitful abundance is to flow. (Psalm 1:3)
May I suggest that we consecrate ourselves to such. This is the day and the hour; why wait another moment? Why delay? There is no place to left be sitting on the fence is there? Consecration towards consummation and be willing to lose ourselves in Him. Oh, run into His arms; will you? His love constrains me to reach out. To whosoever will, open to Him and this invitations extends to all.
