It seems that God wants us to fully grasp what true and pure love really is. In the minds of many, that concept has become rather skewed from what God originally intended.
May we see just what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should walk out our lives “as we have been called as “children of God”; and so we are.
The Spirit of God helps us in the midst of where we are in our flesh weak.
For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us; with a “groaning” that is too deep for words.
He who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that for those who love God, that all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
The reason why those who do not “know” God do not understand the “things” of God is because they do not “know Him”
Also the person who does not know Him does not accept the things of the Spirit, for they appear as foolishness, and they are not able to understand because the words of God are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:14)
See what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.
We are to live as God’s children “now” in the very lives that we live and right where we live them out.
Not just when we are attending church but at home, in the market place and everywhere in between.
We are created to be the very reflection of the character of the One who created us.
What “we will be” in the end has not yet come to fruition but we know that when He, (Christ Jesus) reappears when He returns, “then” we shall be perfect in Him fully, as we will take on incorruptible new bodies as we shall physically see Him “as He is”.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. (1 Corinthians 13”12)
Meanwhile we are to walk as close to the likeness of Jesus as we possibly can.
He that hopes in God, purifies himself as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3)
See what manner of love the Father has given to us. (I John 3:1) May we take a look at this as we ponder just how much and how deeply the Father loves you and I. What manner of love indeed!
So how shall we address a love so grand? “What” must we overcome in order to grasp and thus understand this?
If God is for us, who then can be against us? You and I have His written Word which we must in our identity become one with.
Read, pray and decree it until who you are aligns with it, to the extent that you become it; His Living Word, flowing out of your very being as rivers of living water.
As you and I come to the extent where we are flowing in such, “then” we shall, never ever thirst in life again.
We must commune in intimate fervent love constantly with the One (Jesus) who laid down His very life to redeem you and I from the chains and bondage of that which seeks to hold our human nature captive. Such love is what breaks those chains.
And can it be that I may gain such an interest and deep appreciation in the Savior’s shed blood for me?
He laid down His very life for me, the one who caused His pain.
He took all of that on for me, who unto his own death upon His cross went all the way so He could pursue and love me?
Amazing love, how can it be that you my God, truly died for me?
Yes, such amazing love! how can is it be that you, my God, paid such a price for me?
So who or what shall separate us from such love; the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
As it is written,“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
First of all we cannot grasp the love of the Father until we are fully in love with His Son, Jesus. “No one can come to Jesus unless the Father who sent Him, draws him.” (John 6:44)
All to Jesus I surrender; all to Him I do freely give.
I will endlessly love and trust Him, and in His Presence daily live.
All to Jesus I surrender, humbly at His feet do I bow.
Worldly pleasures fall away, take me, Jesus, take me into Your stay.
All to you my blessed Savior, may I forever there remain.
I am Yours and You are mine; Holy Spirit fill me up in joy sublime.
Knowing Your power and that You are mine.
