Where do you place your faith in life and how are you advancing or are you?
God asks us to place our faith not in what we think we can do or in who we think we are.
It is likely most of us are living out an identity that is not necessarily entirely true to who we are.
So how can you discover who you truly are?
Go to the source of the One who created you.
God says that we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses. Let us lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. We are to look to Jesus, the founder and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Whether you realize it or not there are many eyes that watch you and observe the manner in which you or I live. Your testimony testifies as to your identity.
Are there elements in your life that are weighing you down?
God never holds anything back from you. We hold ourselves back often unawares. God is all for us. (Romans8:31-39)
He destined us for a victorious life. Unbelief is the greatest entangling obstacle. Do you believe God for His promises that He has given you from His Word? Without faith therein is impossible to please God for we must believe that He is who He says He is and that He is a rewarder of those that earnestly seek Him.
We must look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
We are to run the race set before us which is the story God wrote for you and I to live and walk/run out. (Psalm 139:13-16)
(1 Corinthians 9:24-27)
The key to running well is your Joy in the presence of the Lord coupled with unshakable and unwavering faith. Being immersed and bathed in His extravagant love for you will give you an impetus of great measure for being the very best you be; out of your love for Him and the same love he gives you for others. You will serve and sacrifice and it will be pure joy to live so. If you have or are not experiencing that then pray and ask God for it that the eyes of your hearts be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. (Ephesians 1:18)
As the eyes are opened as to who God truly is then you will begin to discover who you truly are. It is totally transforming beyond anything you can ask or imagine. Then it is a journey of prayer and action. He will direct your steps. Only believe and trust Him. He is faithful as he has called you and will be faithful to complete the work that He has begun in you.
